Hello folks, I have a surprise for you all. 
I am in correspondence with an active-duty gebirgsjaeger from the 232 GbJgKp, who is kindly willing to answer your questions concerning his unit and other things about the Gebirgsjäger, staying anonymous.
In order to make this thread comfortable to read and to understand for both readers, writers and our anonymous expert, to make it a useful source of BW reenactment information - I'll set some rules and principles of asking and answering.
1. All questions are written here in English or German.
2. All answers are given to me by the anonymous expert (AE) via mailing and posted here by me.
3. If a question or it's part is considered incorrect, fishy or sensitive, the AE will not answer or comment the question.
4. You may ask your questions by posting separate post in this thread from Monday to Friday. After the first batch of questions the AE will answer them as soon as he can. You may ask further questions after the previous part was answered.
5. All answers and quoted questions will be posted in the start topic.
Please remember, that the AE is doing this at his own free time on a voluntary basis, so he is not obliged to answer or deliver any information.
You should also remember, that any sensitive questions will not be answered or commented for the reason of OPSEC & PERSEC.
The AE does no need any additional attention to his person or this thread from any authority or higher command, therefore only registered users are authorized to read and post here. Any quotation or copying of any information from this topic is prohibited.
